dengue, go away

My first-born son, Kyle Adam has been absent from school for almost a week now. He's gotten sick since Tuesday night, the same night when Typhoon Pedring started wrecking havoc here in the Phils. I was worried sick when his temperature never got lower even after giving him medication. We went to his Pedia first hand and we learned that he had Tonsilitis.

Three days later, Kyle was still not feeling well. He started to get rashes on his face and shoulders. So we went to the hospital again for Kyle's blood platelet count. I was worried he might have Dengue. After getting the results, I sighed. So far, so good, still far away from Dengue, thank God.

But Kyle's still grumpy. He was wearing his Angry Bird sandals when the nurse called him, "Hey, Mr. Angry Bird, come here. I'll get your blood."

Kyle responded by saying, "Hmp, I'm not angry and I'm not a Bird!" hahaha. The nurse looked me as if asking, "does this boy really have fever or what?" Hahahaha..
