truly one of the greatest icons in the music industry... i was once a big fan of MJ.. i even had his Thriller cassette tape! and Black & White / You are Not Alone were two of my favorite MJ songs.. you will surely be missed, King of POP.

because i've been gone for about a week, i wasn't able to blog about my (bet) winnings, new anime addiction or even greet my dad during Father's Day.. ahhh.. i'm such a bad girl...

anyway, for those who want to know, here's the rundown of the events that transpired last week..

Lakers won (4-1 series) against Magic.. and i was soooo happy!! for two reasons:
1) i'm a big Lakers fan - i love Kobe & Gasol...
2. i joined a bet in the office.. yep, for the first time in my life, i joined a betting game worth a thousand bucks... i know it's bad.. it's gambling.. but i just tried it.. i promise i won't bet again..

but yes... i was sooo happy because i won!! yipeee i already treated my friends here using the money i won..

okay... on with the other news....

i got addicted with the anime series Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion..(seasons 1 & 2)..

LeLouch Lamperouge (L.L.) is an interesting character.. a brittanian who fought against his home land and decided to protect Japan (Area 11) instead..

his alter ego - Zero is cunning.. but that's when i like him better.. he simply amazes me with his wit..

and C.C's green hair is sooooo cool... i'm not really sure if C.C. belongs to L.L. they look good together.. but Kallen's chemistry with L.L. is much more entertaining to watch..

guess what... my kid, Kyle is a big fan of Zero too.. he's the one who narrates to me what happened to Lelouch everytime i come home.. and he wants Kallen for LeLouch too!! LOL..

okay.. that's all for now.. i'm gonna blog again tomorrow... i just hope i could find the time..

a week ago, my Motorola phone died on me.. i wasn't able to text my loved ones for two days.. so i had it repaired.. but i think the man who supposedly fixed my phone may have replaced the batteries!

gosh! i'm now re-charging my phone every 16 hours! sheesh...

anyway, i'm thinking of buying a new phone.. the one that's got TV... so i can watch BOF when going home.. my officemates suggested iPhone and TV1100.. i browsed the web for their specs.. hmmm.. not bad at all..

clearly, i've been busy for the past week, that's why it looks like i have abandoned you already.. my apologies, my dear blog, and also to you, my dear readers, for not being able to read anything here on my haven.. i have been on hiatus for the passed few days due to work... that's all there is.. no other excuses.. no buts.. no ifs...

anyway, i decided to drop by here, to check comments, to view my tagboard, and to click on my blog-links & pay a visit to some of you, my blogfriends..

i haven't blogged for a couple of days now.. pressure from work is really TOXICating! i can't even tweet! yep, they banned Twitter in our office! i miss my tweet updates! good thing i had set Twitter with my Tumblr account, that's why i still get updated with Perez & Paris Hilton - not related in anyway but they do love each other and i love them both too.. hahaha! okay that's another story!.. but twitter on Tumblr aint complete.. i can't add some of my friends, like Inday! ugh!

speaking of Inday, our dear common friend, Blue is now working at my company as a trainer.. and i'm soooo happy to have her here with me.. Inday, Blue & I had been boardmates at the Chiang Mansion circa 2002-2004.. we had our moments together - from mansion gatherings to mall hopping, from late-night chit-chats to weekend TV/movie marathons.. having Blue and Inday as my housemates had been a blessing in my life.. we may have parted ways when i got married on 2005, but my dear friends from the Chiang mansion never lost communication with me. and now that Blue's with me, i couldn't contain my happiness.. everyday, i see her walking along the corridors or eating at the pantry or downstairs.. it's just like the old times.. we haven't had our super grand talk-a-thon but i'm looking forward to our reunion, once Inday returns from hibernation.. Inday! please come back here and have fun with us.. I miss you dearly!!

Last Sunday's ASAP's special production number really had me ROTFLOL - as in really rolling on the floor laughing out loud! Kanto Boys never fail to make me smile/laugh.. adding Toni G as Shan Cai/Guem Jandi is soo hilariously fun!! i'm loving my K4 even more each day...

what's this i read about Korean F4 coming to Manila in 8-10 weeks?! is this true? if so, then i would totally wait for them and relive the moments when i was still with my MSP family conquering the Taiwanese F4.. OMG!! as in MG fever still lives on!!! Jia You!!

i can still remember the days when i was falling in love with my husband... or should i say - boyfriend, back then.. in fact, i even blogged about it when i was still using my account in diaryland.com.. walking down memory lane, i can't help but smile and think of how my life has changed when i realized that i was indeed in-love with Marc...

here, let me share with you this unsent letter i made for Marc and how it all started..

when everything seems wrong for me, you happen to cross my path and then make things right..

this isn't really a good day for me..

first, it was already way past 12 midnight when i got to sleep last night.. my kids were super hyper last night, i wonder where they get all their energy! so i was awake until mignight.. O.M.E. as in "Oh my eyebags"!!

then i wasn't able to get up early today.. instead of my usual 5am wake up call, i woke up 15 minutes before 7am! i wasn't able to have breakfast anymore.. i just took a bath, kissed my kids and went to work...

now here in the office, the first email i got was from my client, she's mad coz i forgot to disconnect her fictitious acct yesterday.. sheesh!

and lastly, adam didn't win the American Idol! he got robbed!! huhuhu.. anyway, congratulations to Kris.. best of luck on the music scene!

ahhh.. hopefully my afternoon would not be as messed up as my morning...keeping my fingers crossed for a better ending later..

Last Friday night i had a small one-on-one talk with my kiddo, Kyle... yes, he's just 3 years old but apparently, he already have plans for his future..i asked him random questions and he anwered me as if he already knew what lies ahead of him..

the biggest surprise of all is when i asked him what he wants to be when he grows up.. this was how our conversation went:

Me: Kyle, anong gusto mo maging paglaki mo?
Kyle: Mommy, i want to be a Doctor!
Me: oh really? bakit naman doctor..
Kyle: kasi mommy, yung maysakit, kelangan nyang gumaling...para di na sya sick..
Me: wow, ang bait naman ng baby ko...
Kyle: Mommy, gusto ko pa isa!
Me: huh? anong isa pa?
Kyle: pag ayaw ko na ng Doctor, meron pa ko gusto!
Me: what is it, Kyle?
Kyle: I want to be a dinosaur!!
Me: WHAT? you cant be a dinosaur!
Kyle: Mommy, i want to be a Dinosaur, parang si Barney!
Me: huh? Barney? why?
Kyle: kasi Mommy, si Barney, naging doctor sya kahapon (i think he was referring to an episode in Barney show), pinagaling nya yung friend nya. kaya gustko din maging dinosaur...
Me: NYEK!!!

hahaha.. yeah, we started on a serious note but i ended up laughing out loud upon hearing my child's sentiments..it made me realize that children, eventhough they haven't reached the maturity level yet, at least they know what they want when they grow up.. i was ashamed of myself because when i was a kid, i wasn't that particular with my ambitions yet.. i just decided for myself when i graduated in high school. even then, the choice i made wasn't really the course i really wanted.. i just hope that my children would be able to take up what they really want to be in the future...

that night, i learned something from my kid: dream high as early as you can, reach out for that dream and make it happen... and in the eyes of a child, everything is possible.

for the past four nights, i have religiously watched the latest F4 phenomenon on primetime TV, Boys Over Flowers.. and i never complained even if it was shown past 11pm.. past my kids' bedtime.. as long as i see Kim Bum & Lee Min Ho (Yi Jeong & Goo Jun Pyo respectively), i had for sure a good night sleep...

but when i chanced upon the commercial last night about the Swak na Swap gimmick, i was a li'l furious because they decided to move BOF to an earlier timeslot (before TV Patrol)... OHNOES!

it only meant one thing - that i will not be able to catch the four flower boys anymore because i am still on the road at that time! yes, my work sked is from 9am to 6pm, which means that i'm going out at 6 and will be arriving home at 7pm.. no more chance to see the korean F4..

oh what a bummer!

anyway, it's my rest day again tomorrow, so no more blog for 2 days.. i hope everyone will have a pleasant weekend ahead.. see you all soon!!

Don't give your trust frivolously or irresponsibly, but do give it. For without trust, there is really nothing that is worth protecting..

Nuggets won over Mavericks today - securing the slot against Cleveland Cavaliers.. i say, Go NUGGETS!!

Trivia: 2 years ago, Cavs played against my fave team San Antonio Spurs and Tony Parker's team emerged victorious.. but now, LeBron James' disciples are back on their feet and are gonna battle it out with my new fave team Denver Nuggets.. well, well, well.. let's see if they can beat the double-team of Carmelo Anthony & Chauncey Billups :)

sometimes i want to be just like this girl, wandering in the woods, playing in the water, and not thinking about any problems at all... wish i could be this girl, even for just one day...

this is Kyla Marielle.. she's the girl that my panganay - little Kyle fell in love with.. remember their puppy-love story?she's so pretty, isn't she?

well, bfore the month of April ended, my little one was caught in a web of emotions and nursed a broken heart..

well guess what.. here's the latest update!! ever wonder who caused my first son's broken heart? OMG!!! it's his own brother Kian, my bunso!!

i’m annoyed… why can’t some people just leave me alone and let me be…

can't they see that i want to work!!? here i am, minding my own business, focused on what i'm doing, and then they appear out of nowhere, bugging the hell out of me...

unbelievable!

in my office, at least 4 people have split up with their respective boyfriend-girlfriends this month.. the ladies – ended up wth broken hearts because their men are afraid to commit.. while the gents – also cried buckets of tears because their ladyloves have found another man to fill in their shoes..

but as they say, love moves in mysterious ways.. one thing that makes us abuzz is the blossoming love story/ love triangle of my two dear friends, Izza and Camille.

Let’s start with Izza…She’s the same person who consulted me a week ago about falling in love – with a younger man, Troy.. but here’s the issue today – apparently, somebody else in my team has fallen head over heels with her guy..that someone else is Pia.

well, it's not actually Izza's fault if she's the one that Troy is courting. it just so happened that Pia may have long suppressed her feelings for Troy and now she's kinda hurt because it is her friend that Troy loves and not her.. tsk tsk tsk.. but as far as i can see it, Troy will end up with Izza in the future because their feelings are mutual.. i wish them all the best..

with regards to camille's complicated love triangle, well, she is still not sure if she should still get close with Phil. lately, there'd be exciting news from "paparazzis" that the man involved is somehow weighing his options and looks like camille is seeing the brighter side.. hmm, well and good for her - and him too, if that is the case..

from time to time, i see how camille's eyes twinkle when she receives text messages from phil.. and she's got the sweetest smiles when she talks or shares about him.. i'm seeing her lighter side.. and i'm happy for her.. hopefully, everything will turn out fine for both of them.. :)

though there had been developments recently with my other friend, Jack, who admitted that he was falling for Camille.. Jack & Camille are two of my closed friends.. unfortunately, camille doesn't return the emotions.. anyway, he countered that he will just talk to God so he can be enlightened and make sure that what he's feeling is simpy infatuation..

ahhh.. love is in the air here in the office.. my advice to all of them is this: Don't look for love, because Love will fins its own way to your heart..
